INTRODUCING
LAKE WYLIE DOODLES

At Lake Wylie Doodles we are passionate about our goldendoodles. We love helping people find the perfect new puppy addition to their families, while having a reputation as a kind and caring goldendoodle breeder.

Our program started with the breed we love most! We have raised Harper, our Standard F1 Goldendoodle puppy now mom, in a very loving, comfortable and healthy home environment. We know that our puppies will been given such a wonderful start. From the very beginning, we carefully select wonderfully tempered, genetically sound and health tested parent dogs to produce healthy, hypoallergenic, happy, social and adorable doodle puppies. The Doodle world is so versatile and there's always something for everyone. For this reason, we are hoping to slowly open our program to add other sweet types of doodles here in the next few years. Our focus and concentration will always be to produce well rounded puppies that fit in with active families and bring comfort to their owners.

We work diligently to begin the housebreaking process for you. Starting when they're 3 weeks old, we begin potty-tray training and then at 5 weeks old we introduce them to a potty schedule. Our pups are well handled, vet checked, dewormed and have begun the vaccination process by the time they are ready to go to their new homes.

We also believe it's important to start the crate training process during their time with us, so that when they are ready for your home, it's not a scary experience for them at all. We begin introducing crates when they're 4-5 weeks old by simply using them for a place of comfort in their puppy area, as a place of lounging and eating. Then at 6.5 weeks old we begin separating them into their crates at night to get used to not being with their litter anymore at night. The plan is, by the time they are ready to go to their new homes around 8 weeks old, they will be ready to go on their own in your crates with you, their new family.

Our puppies are offered as “pet only” status. A spay/neuter contract is required for any puppy that comes from our program, unless approval is given to select breeders that meet our guidelines. We don't support casual breeding or "breeding one time" scenarios. Breeding takes a lot of effort, scheduling, research of genes and bloodlines. Our puppies will come to you with a microchip registered in our name and once your puppy has been spayed/neutered the microchip will go to your name.

We are blessed with enough interest in our puppies that we are able to HANDPICK the families that we want our puppies to go to!

We are an in home breeding program near you in Charlotte North Carolina and find it so rewarding to have our family dogs where they belong, in a loving home and surrounded by humans who adore them.

Our goal is to be the breeder that is always there for you (being only a text or phone call away) and a sounding board for encouragement and advice as you and your new furry family member grow old together.

Our Guarantee:

We guarantee that, to the best of our knowledge, your puppy is free of diseases, congenital, and genetic defects. We will not knowingly breed or sell puppies from parents that have a known hereditary deficiency.

We further guarantee that an excessive effort is made to keep the puppy healthy and the living facilities clean. We guarantee your puppy until the age two, against any life threatening or significant quality of life altering, congenital or genetic birth defect.

We are apart of the GANA Blue Ribbon community, Goldendoodle Association of North America.

All GANA breeders are required to do specific health testing on their parent dogs.  GANA has three levels of breeder testing – Blue Ribbon (the top breeder status), Red Ribbon, and Basic Level.  You can learn what each level requires by going to their website. Each breeder that is in good standing with GANA will have a custom logo which includes their kennel name, the year they became a member, their health testing level and a valid thru date.  The logo will look like the one below.  Any other logo is not proof of membership with GANA.
